Rhyolite Mercantile Rhyolite Mercantile

During my first night in Death Valley last November, a small group of us were on the way back to town from the Cashier Mill when I managed to get a cell reception just long enough to get a message from another of the Google+ photographers saying he would be heading to Rhyolite. So we detoured to meet him. Driving around in the dark, we had no idea where exactly in Rhyolite anybody was, that’s when we saw a flash of light bright enough to kill a vampire. It was one of the good ol’ Googlers +Tony Payne acting as a lighthouse leading us towards him with his super flashlight (which he calls a Light Sword. How cool is that?).
