Last Fall while I was up in Bishop Creek Canyon, I decided to head to the North Fork area for sunrise. I parked in an little turn out parking area and walked along the road a bit looking for some interesting things to shoot with my while I waited for the sun to kiss the mountains in the distance. That’s when this flower caught my eye. Though there were a few of these in the area, this one seemed to stand out and stand tall in a sea of green and yellow, ready to face the mountain and anything that came with it. So naturally, I took this shot. Fall out there is absolutely beautiful. I’ll have to remember to time my next visit better to get the full Fall colors, but until then, I’m glad to have come away with shots like this.
