It’s been a rough few weeks. Not that anything has been so difficult that it would drive me insane, but I’ve been on little to no sleep for much too long. So with the lack of sleep my patience has grown thin with a lot of things. Not being able to open the wrapper of a frozen burrito for instance. So yesterday, after getting home from work, I decided to pack up my gear and take another hike up Mt. Thom in the Verdugo Mountains to get away from the noise of everyday life. The air was warmer than previous days and the clouds were beautiful. These flowers starting to bloom also made for a nice, warm touch. So, I stopped about a mile up the mountain and enjoyed this field and view. I must have stood there for almost an hour just enjoying the quite. My camera was setup ready to shoot, I just hadn’t pressed the shutter. And finally, before leaving I fired off some shots.
