Thanksgiving Day feast

This year my parents are in town visiting for the holidays, so I was lucky to have some of my mothers home cooking for this years Thanksgiving Day.  There weren’t that many of us, so the meal was modest, but it had all the makings of a Thanksgiving Day meal.  Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, some garlic bread and a double whammy of dessert with pie and cake!  And yes, that is a plate of spaghetti on the table.  My folks just simply felt like having spaghetti today along with the rest of the meal.
