Sunrise at Tanjung Benoa

Even though I live in California, where the sun is shining almost all year round, every now and then I still yearn to be back in true paradise. I wish I could be back in Bali. Luckily for me I still have hundreds of photos from my last visit there to tide me over until my next trip to that amazing island. I took this shot on my last morning in Bali, while my sister and the rest of her family was still asleep, I crept out of the hotel room when it was still pitch black outside and made my way to the beach. Even if I hadn’t taken any photos, just being able to sit there and watch the sun rise above the horizon with such great weather was a moment I’ll never forget.
