I’m starting to solidify my travel plans for the year. And naturally Japan is a must in those plans. There’s no way that I would make travel plans without making time for Japan. I usually find myself there at least once a year. So the fact that I haven’t been there in the last two years feels like a lifetime. And with what I’m planning I’m hoping to revisit some of the locations I had become so familiar with before. One such location is the Zōjō-ji Temple in the heart of Tokyo.
During my first few visits I made it a point to visit this temple. Throughout the years it became a spot that I would see if I were in the area. But it wasn’t a spot that was a priority considering I had seen it often. And because I haven’t been back in a while I thought it would be fun to explore Zōjō-ji Temple again. It’s an amazing view in my opinion. And on a cloudy day sunset and blue hour makes photography there very fun.
Ready To Come Home
I’ve often referred to Japan as my home away from home. I haven’t lived there for a prolonged amount of time. But I’ve been there often enough that it truly feels like a home to me. I’m not sure I would explain it properly, but being there feels incredibly right to me. Obligations in the United States have kept me from traveling outside of the country. And I’m happy to say that it looks like I’ll be able to get on a plane again this year. So of all the places I plan on visiting over the next couple of years, it’s home that I’m truly looking forward to.
