During a hazy day I tend to enjoy watching a sunset. The haze that coats the landscape adds a different kind of look as the sun goes down. So when I was up by Griffith Observatory and hiking around Griffith Park, I was glad to be there and watch the haze slowly fading away during the sunset. Of course, there was still plenty of haze as can be seen in this image, but that’s what I wanted to try and catch when I took my shot. The haze creates a halo effect around some of the trees, but I can assure you all, it’s haze. He he. I still haven’t taken a proper time lapse of the sunset from up there, which is something I’ve always intended to do. So maybe I’ll finally be able to get that done in 2017. But don’t hold me to that because as often as I move around for a landscape shoot I may not be still enough to shoot a decent time lapse. He he.
