I think it goes without saying that I love shooting in Dowtown Los Angeles. DTLA provides me with almost everything that I find interesting. A beautiful skyline, tall, lovely architecture. Interesting lighting in many areas. Historical sights and one thing that I find fun, bridges. And when I say bridges I mean that I’m able to stand on a bridge to get a great vantage point of various points within the city. This bridge in particular connected to the Westin Bonaventure (which is there on the right) and it gave me a great view looking straight down Flower St. Blue hour was coming to an end and it had become dark enough for the lights from the other buildings in the distance to provide an interesting glow to the scene. It was also a good time to shoot some small streaks of tail lights from the cars passing by below. DTLA never lets me down when I want something interesting to shoot.
