Aside from attending the occasional event, one thing that I get a kick out of when visiting the Los Angeles Convention Center is the Annex. I really love the look of the greenish glass and the white steel bars that make up the structure of the Annex. It acts as a nice “welcome” when attending an event at the center. The Annex was designed by the American Architect James Ingo Freed. If you’re ever at the L.A. Convention Center make your way to the Annex (if you haven’t already entered through there), take a breath and take a look above you. It’s definitely a cool sight.
I decided to process this shot a little differently than I normally would. I wanted to let the sunlight that was shining through really saturate the structure so I tried out some filters that I really haven’t used before and adjusted some sliders to try and get the look I was thinking of. ;-P
