As of late my lunchtime walks have been uninteresting. There’s not much that sparks much interest for me. There are a lot of beautiful flowers around. But I’m the kind of guy that loves variety. I suppose the one thing that saves my walks are a set of train tracks that run right by my work building. Not to mentions that there’s an airport landing strip right next to it. So if the timing is right I get to watch airplanes flying low above the tracks. Of course with how the weather affects flight times it’s been tough to time these landings for each and every walk. But that won’t stop me from trying to time it right.
Ideally I would like to catch a train actually rolling by just as a plane is coming in. I’m not sure if that’s something I’ll be able to catch unless I’m willing to stand there for most of the day. But I still hope to get lucky during one of my lunchtime walks. What made this particular image a lot of fun were the clouds in the sky. When there are clouds like this floating around it’s hard to not to enjoy whatever view I have in front of me. Hopefully these clouds come back before long. Because not only could I use some fun during a sunset shoot. But I could also use some shade from the sun.
Never A Bad Time For A Walk
I haven’t been able to get on my bike lately. My schedule has changed and I’m still recovering from a couple of injuries. So I’m taking it slow to get back to the bike. I admit that maybe I’m taking it too slow. But I would rather rehab to 100 percent before getting back on the road at less than full health. But I do always make it a point to take my walks. Whether they be during my lunch breaks or just around the neighborhood after work or on the weekends. There is never a bad time for a walk in my opinion. And luckily I can do that to get some sun and as much fresh air as possible in a city full of pollution. I’ll keep walking for the rest of my life. I just hope that I get my feet on the ground in some more fun locations soon.
