While in San Diego with +Yumi Shoji we decided to stop over at the Seaport Village for some lunch and shopping before exploring the rest of the seaside. While walking around Yumi noticed this bed of flowers standing at attention and soaking up all that the sun could give, so we stopped to take some photos of the field. They had arranged themselves quite nicely and in different levels so I got down a little low and decided to focus on one of the shorter of the group. I’m happy with how this shot turned out, not so much because of composition or lighting or any of that. But because it reminds me of my time there with my dear friend and how she’s able to see such compositions quicker than I can blink.
