It had been just about a year since my last visit to San Diego, and ever since then I had always wanted to shoot inside the Santa Fe Station right in Downtown. I didn’t shoot it much during my last visit and I had always intended to return and do that, so earlier this month, I finally did! It’s a real basic station but the high arches and classic look are very attractive so I decided to shoot this waiting area with the arches in mind. This was a peak time of day as many passengers were waiting to return home to L.A. just as I was. If I ever get the chance to return here again I’ll have to remember to rent a fisheye. I bet that look would make for some great shots in here.
