Often times I️’m in the mood for hikes. Not necessarily long hikes. Or even hikes in far and remote places for that matter. Just a good hike wherever it may be. This time around I️ managed to find myself hiking through a portion of the Angeles National Forest in search of some Fall colors. And though all of the colors were already on the ground it made for a wonderfully yellow orange landscape. Along the hike I️ came across this little stream area. The water wasn’t flowing strong but there was enough to make this little spot seem quite special. And while it’s not a secret considering that it’s a well known trail, it just feels like it. It feels like I’ve stumbled across a scene that nobody else has laid eyes on. Again I️ know that’s not the case. But it’s a fun thought that crosses my mind and it makes me pretty happy. In any case I’m just glad to enjoy a scene like this. No matter how close or far it may be from home.
