Lately I’ve been writing a bit about how the city I live in is changing. More people, more traffic, etc. and so forth. But while those things aren’t very desirable, it does make the little, quiet spots all the more special in my opinion. Little places that can be found throughout the city which adds a bit of peace and quiet to the otherwise busy scene. Like this little mini park. It’s not much of a park though. Actually it’s a little walkway next to a Hilton hotel but it’s open to the public and while it’s on the corner of a major street, it somehow has a way of blocking out the noise and such from the street that it overlooks. There’s some construction going on with the hotel so I tried my best to compose the frame in a way that blocked much of it out, but I couldn’t get away from getting just a bit of the fence. But rest assured that without the construction fence this spot actually looks quite nice and once it’s down I’ll be back here again. Not so much to try another photo but rather to just have a seat on one of the benches to just watch the cars go by, making me glad I’m not driving in the traffic alongside the other drivers.
