When I was last in Japan recently, my good friend +Takahiro Yamamoto managed to get some free time so that we could take a road trip to Fujiyoshida in the Yamanashi Prefecture. It’s an area that I had always wanted to visit so we headed there hoping to catch some great views of Mount Fuji. When we settled on our chosen location for sunset we found the clouds to be so thick that Mount Fuji was completely blocked from our view. As great as the sunset was, Fujisan was covered up the whole time. But we waited patiently and by the time our friend +Yuga Kurita had arrived for the blue hour, the clouds had cleared up enough for us to see Mount Fuji in all its glory. Normally I’d thank Mother Nature for the treat, but I get the feeling that Yuga’s presence had something to do with it. He he. Blue hour, clouds, Fall colors and Fujisan. The scene was more than I had hoped for.
